GGM 'Professor' Chow Memorial

On Saturday, February 3, 2007, the GGM 'Professa' William K.S. 'Thuderbolt' Chow Memorial took place in San Francisco, California at the wonderful Sheraton Gateway Hotel. The Professor Chow Memorial brought together five major Offshoots of Professor Chow's teachings along with the teachings of Great Grandmaster James Mitose. In addition to the Mother-System of Go Shin Jitsu Kenpo/Chinese Kempo Kai, the following Offshoots were represented at the Memorial:
Kajukenbo
American Kenpo
Shaolin Kenpo
Nick Cerio's Kenpo
& GGM Mitose's Kosho-Ryu Kenpo
The day was marked by day-long Seminars taught by all of the representatives and their respective Styles. The Celebration Banquet was punctuated by Recognition Awards given out to all of the Offshoot's Representatives.
The evening ended with the dedication of a sculpted one-of-a-kind Plaque to honor Professor Chow. All of the systems founders' and representatives' names, who participated at the Memorial, were included on the Plaque as a special 'Thank You' by the Memorial's sponsor and host, Master Bill Chun, Jr. It was truly a moving experience and much over-due celebration.
