Professor Cerio Legacy Memorial

On Saturday, January 29, 2005, NCK honored its founder Professor Nick Cerio was a Memorial celebrating his life's work and achievements. Master Bill Chun, Jr. was an honored guest representing Great Grandmaster William K.S. Chow and his dad, Grandmaster Bill Chun, Sr., both of whom Professor Cerio trained with during the late 1960's. Master Chun, Jr. shared the Chow/Chun method during the day three one-hour long Seminars which saw Master Chun, Jr. a rarity as actual Chow/Chun cirriculum was taught to the willing participants as well as self-defense again single and multiple armed and unarmed attacks.
The evening Celebration Banquet was punctuated with NCK's Shihan James bestowing Plaques to each of Professor Cerio's teachers that gatherered to remember his life and their contribution to his system of NCK. When it came to Master Chun's turn to accept his Plaque, he humbly accepted on behalf of both his Instructor and teacher.
Master Chun, Jr. would like to extend a warm 'Aloha' to Shihan James and Shihan Seavey, both of whom organized the event for their teacher.
