1999 Gathering of Eagles

On February 5,6,7, 1999, the first Gathering of Eagles took place, bringing together most of the major Kenpo/Kempo clans for the first time. Master Bill Chun, Jr. made the pilgrimage with his students, Sensei Brian Peladeau, Sensei Jacob Goetz, and Sensei Bobby Carreon, to the Gathering to pay honor and respect to his Instructor and Teacher, GGM 'Professa' William K.S. Chow, and his father, GM Bill Chun, Sr. by sharing the Chow/Chun method of Go Shin Jitsu Kenpo/Chinese Kempo Kai with the attentive crowd. At the Saturday evening banquet, Master Chun, Jr. was honored with a special ring to commemorate the historic event. Master Chun, Jr. would like to extend his 'Aloha' to Grandmaster Al Tracy for inviting and giving him the opportunity to pay homage to his roots.
